Life in our preemie world

A couple of weeks ago we took the kids to ride on Thomas the Train. If you have Thomas fans in your house and have never been - I highly recommend it. They have a life size model of Thomas and you get to ride behind him on regular train cars. In addition to "riding" Thomas they also have crafts, trains to play with, jumpy houses, etc. Dominic has been a Thomas fan for several years so this was our third year getting to ride however it was Olivia's first year and I really wasn't sure how she was going to handle the experience. It turns out I didn't have to worry at all. She loves the motion of trains and was very interested in watching the beautiful scenery around us.

So interested. So intent. Loving every minute. Now that's what I call a fun day.

What do you like to do with your family?

We haven't had an opportunity to take the boys somewhere just for them yet since they're so small. But I'm really looking forward to all the parks, and museums and amusement parks in the future! Most of all, we are big movie buffs so the movie theatre will be our family thing and I really can't wait for that.

It is fun to take them somewhere and see the excitement on their face. The first movie that Dominic was interested/aware in was the Cars movie. We were a little worried about how he would handle it so we took him to the drive-in. It was great - we brought pillows, blankets and snacks and had a great time!

We haven't done the Thomas ride yet, we have one close by, but we will. I just know Frankie will be too excited to seat in her seat! She loves everything, finds pretty much anything entertaining as long as she's outside! Love that photos, 2 littly bootys...

I hope you can do Thomas next year. So fun. Really any train ride is so exciting for little ones - the movement, change of scenery. All fun.
